Optimise Business computing with Cloud Hosting

The performance criterion is one element which counts in every sphere of business organisation. The best performer always becomes a leader in business arena and really takes a lot of effort and thoughtful decisions that takes a person to the next level. The business needs are getting complex with passage of time. This complexity has become an earning opportunity for many across the world. In the internet domain there has evolved a concept of cloud hosting to suffice the need of complex need performance and speed. Cloud hosting is a facility that allows a person or an organisation to store and modify data or increased performance of communication and even increased speed of website, over the Internet.

There has been ever growing need to maintain continuity to business operation whether big, small or medium and even a small disruption hurt the business in a big way. This makes it utmost necessary to resort some predefined solution and back up that will enhance the performance with minimal cost. Cloud hosting service is one solution that can be relied upon by small and medium enterprise which provides host of facility from hardware facility to store large amount of data with high speed internet access for the website with authorised access by the owners of the service rather than compromising on the security.

There are millions of small and medium enterprises across the worlds who are trying to make it big in the market and gain a fair share of the market but every business organisation could not make real success story. There are various websites that offer cloud hosting service with various facilities. The most important plus point of cloud hosting facility against the dedicated hosting facility is the cost incurred to set up hosting facility. Generally websites providing hosting services charges client only for the usage. The more the usage the more the cost incurred and the less the usage the less will be the outflow. So small and medium organisation have to carefully chalk out the needs of their entity and determine the quantum and quality of hosting service to be used.

Moreover small enterprise would not be able to build server facility to accumulate, manage and disseminate data but cloud hosting allows one to use multiple servers across the globe for such purpose thereby providing lot of flexibility to users. The cloud hosting service is now available at reasonable price and small and medium enterprise can notch up the service with ease as there has been a spurt in number of players making the competition very high. Moreover clients also achieve scalability i.e. they could achieve grand storage facility with high processing power.

The advent of cloud hosting is to quick performance with reliability which will ensure continuity of business operation and recovery of data in case of any fault. Moreover the maintenance cost to be incurred is borne by website providing the service thus making it more suitable for small and medium entity. In spite of the challenges that cloud hosting faces it is one of the most sought after options by business enterprise across the world to optimise need, cost and efficiency.

Cloud Ushers a New Era of Computing

The traditional mode of internet computing involved client server model with one node as client requesting resources from the delivering node called server. It does sound simple but the fact is it doesn’t optimize the computer resources efficiently.  The problem arises when one needs to multitask and the server can’t support it or the server can be overloaded.  Even adding more servers doesn’t assure the full use of the resources. This is where the newer and much more effective concept of ‘cloud computing’ steps in.
Cloud computing is a natural evolution of virtualization, service-oriented architectures, autonomic and utility computing.   There is no single server that delivers the emails once the user logs in, it is technically in a cloud (bunch of servers all over data centers infrastructure that respond to the client requests and serves the mail).

The most common conclusion of cloud computing is that since there is no central server so there is no chance of the central server failure. In such a scenario once the main server fails the impact is visible on the backup server as well. With cloud computing a retailer has to purchase the software only when he needs it, instead of buying a copy of the software for every single machine in their organization.

Retailers are always on the lookout for increasing their efficiency and reducing the cost. Retailers always face the problem of dealing with the ever growing applications and overlapping applications. When Retailers enter new market, the complexity increases and the IT expenses go up, but in India that not the case. Retailers can serve a lot by subscribing to cloud computing.  A lot of our expenditure can be cut through using cloud. Retailers manage thousands or in some cases in lakhs of computers in different locations. By subscribing to Cloud services networking of computers can be avoided, there is no requirement for storage units and no need to install firewall and antivirus protections. With Cloud hosting retailers can move from an idea to production within a short span of time, without dealing with long term vendor contracts with little capital invested.

CtrlS is the country’s first and only certified Tier 4 datacenter and is offering Cloud  computing solutions, private cloud on demand, vps host, colocation services and disaster recovery.

Cloud Computing and its benefits for IT industries

Cloud computing:   This can be described has the next generation computing.   An excellent feature which can be found in cloud computing is that there is no requirement for storage of data in the personal database, all the data can be retrieved from the central database namely “cloud”. Various industries can be benefited because of this technology as they don’t require spending much on storage spaces.

Benefits:

(a)    It improves the re usability of the resources at the client side.

(b)    Application programming interface equals the traditional procedure such that there is no delay with the interaction of clients and servers.

(c)    In spite of the location of the client device the data can be accessed, Geographical boundaries can’t be a barrier.

(d)    All the applications one of sever can be used in another.

(e)    Multiple sites that well designed and redundant are used for the growth of Organization.

(f)     Performance of servers can be regularly monitored any architecture can be easily constructed using the services of web.

(g)    A number of users can access the server at a time by using three methodologies centralization, peak load capacity and utilization and efficiency.

(h)    Security is a lot better than the traditional ones, but there might be loss of sensitive data.

(j)           Maintaining is quiet easier because they don’t require installation on every individual system.

Architecture of cloud computing:

The architecture completely deals with the architecture of system and software services that are involved in transferring the data between server and client. The cloud components and client communicates with each other in form of a message queue that is loosely coupled.

Different types of clouds:

Public cloud:  As the name suggests this cloud is completely an open source were any one can access all the data from the cloud. Organization can use the complete data where you can’t find any security barriers.

Private cloud:  This type of cloud completely deals with details of the private organization or sector of people. Basically, there is no difference between the architecture to the above model but security feature is added.

Community cloud:  this cloud completely deals with details of the community such has their personal details same that of to a private cloud. This cloud can be helpful to set of Organizations.

Hybrid cloud:  It is simply the mixture of the above clouds. This type of clouds benefits all types of Organizations by allowing them to access public data for a private use.

Cloud computing definitely benefits all It sectors because of the reliable features it possess. A huge amount of space and amount is saved by usage of clouds. It sectors can simply access the same features like the traditional ones. Cloud computing is an initiative for the rise of country’s economy.
